I’m Morris Turek and I’m a trademark attorney living in St. Louis, Missouri. Since graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2005, I have focused my practice of law almost exclusively on trademarks. Over the years, I have helped hundreds of individuals, businesses, organizations, associations, and educational institutions avoid the devastating and disastrous effects of being sued for trademark infringement by making sure they take all the legal steps necessary to protect themselves. I take this responsibility very seriously because I have seen first-hand what can happen when someone fails to seek the advice and guidance of a trusted trademark lawyer.
Although I spend the majority of my time at the office performing trademark searches, preparing and filing trademark applications, and renewing trademark registrations, my favorite part of the day is talking on the phone with prospective and current clients about whatever trademark matters happen to be on their minds. There is nothing more satisfying to me than knowing I was able to use my experience and knowledge of trademark law to answer their questions and to help them understand and address their particular trademark issues. Not only do they receive value from our conversations, but I also get to learn more about them and stay updated on important happenings that I might otherwise not know about.

I try my best to stay active in social media and to provide relevant and timely information to folks who are interested in trademarks and how they play a huge role in our daily lives. For the most part, my posts do not consist of boring legal mumbo-jumbo that nobody cares about. Rather, they are chock-full of interesting and amusing tidbits that almost everyone can appreciate. When I’m not wearing my trademark attorney hat, I enjoy weightlifting, running, playing softball, trying new restaurants, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals embarrass whichever team they happen to be playing. I am also an instructor at a local community college where I teach a continuing education course on trademark and copyright law. In addition, I am active in the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL), where I served as Chair of the Patent, Trademark, and Copyright Section and volunteer on the BAMSL membership committee. I am also a proud member of the Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts (VLAA), through which I have provided pro bono legal services to individuals and non-profit organizations involved in the arts.
