What is the situation where the person filed for the trademank and paid the $500.00 fee which was accepted and granted a 10 year legal use with a documedntation saying so from the patent and trademark office. The trademarked name was put under a corporation name when registered. Suppose the corporation, which is in a particular state, was not kept current in its corporation fees. In other words the corporation is inactive until the fees are paid. Would the person who paid the fees representing the corporation lose his trademarked rights to the name? Does he still have the rights since he was notified that it was good for ten years. Someone else should not have the trademarks rights until that period runs out.
